Jack-in-the-box, all shut up tight, (Close fist with thumb tucked in; cover with flat palm of over hand.)
Not a breath of air or a ray of light,

When you visit this website tomorrow there will be two new books for you to enjoy. Visit your local library to take home a copy of this book or click here to find your local public library. Check here to see what books are coming next or look back on what we’ve read so far this year.
Celebrate the birthday of the song Happy Birthday.
Sing Happy Birthday and use family names. You can also check out from the library: Happy Birthday to You!: The Mystery Behind the Most Famous Song in the World by Margot Theis Raven and Chris Soentpiet.
DayByDayNY is funded in part through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
