May through September 2018
As part of Summer Reading at New York Libraries, the State Education Department and myON are partnering to bring thousands of enhanced digital books to children from birth through 8th grade and their families all around the state!
Dance, little Baby, dance up high!
Never mind, Baby, Mother is by.
Crow and caper, caper and crow,
There, little Baby, there you go!
Up to the ceiling, down to the ground,
Backwards and forwards, round and round;
Dance, little Baby and Mother will sing,
With the merry coral, ding, ding, ding!
(try this song with the whole family, changing out Mother for Father, Sister, Grandma, and whoever else is nearby dancing)
When you visit this website tomorrow there will be two new books for you to enjoy. Visit your local library to take home a copy of this book or click here to find your local public library. Check here to see what books are coming next or look back on what we’ve read so far this year.
Put on the radio, CD, or just sing and help your child make up his or her own tune. Everyone dance together.
Can everyone make up their own dance routine?
Boowa & Kwala Songs – Listen to Boowa and Kwala sing and act out lots of songs! Can you dance along?
Do the Blue – Learn the dance movies and dance along with Blue from Nick Jr.
