May through September 2018
As part of Summer Reading at New York Libraries, the State Education Department and myON are partnering to bring thousands of enhanced digital books to children from birth through 8th grade and their families all around the state!
Aunt Aggie’s Alphabet Pie
It has some apples, too
For every letter we can say
The people shout, “Hurray!”
And eat Aunt Aggie’s Alphabet Pie
When you visit this website tomorrow there will be two new books for you to enjoy. Visit your local library to take home a copy of this book or click here to find your local public library. Check here to see what books are coming next or look back on what we’ve read so far this year.
Write out each letter of the alphabet. Cut them out in squares and tape them to your clothes and body. Call out a letter for your child to peel off of you until they are all gone.
DayByDayNY is funded in part through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.
